If you haven’t booked the Dominican Republic’s Viva Heavens by Wyndham Heaven sin a bit, you might want to look again—this time for the families on your client list. Starting this month, the one-time adults-only playground will now be open for all ages, adding another family-friendly resort to your Dominican Republic roster. To make the transition, the complex has invested in upgrades and changes creating an entirely new offer.
“After seven years, and given the feedback we’ve received from guests hoping for a more all-inclusive experience, we decided it was time for a change,” said Amanda Santana, executive vice president of sales and marketing for Viva Resorts by Wyndham , in a press statement. “We are delighted to welcome adults and children alike and help them enjoy a beautiful getaway!”
Viva Heavens by Wyndham ’ New Family-Friendly Look
More than just skin-deep, the changes at Viva Heavens by Wyndham include the All Together Suites, which were made for families of up to five. This is in addition to new family dining options, a brand-spanking-new Kid’s Club and entertainment for everyone. There are five restaurants to choose from to keep little and large palates busy (international, fusion, Italian, Mexican and Dominica menus—plus kid-frliendly options), plus a disco, pool bar and beach snack bar, a new coffee shop and all sorts of activities going on day and night to keep everyone busy.
The resort has 190 rooms in three categories: Bliss Standard, Nirvana Superior and Amnesia Jr. Suites. Viva Wyndham Heavens is accessible from two airports and is located in the Playa Dorada Complex, where your clients will have access to other eateries and local attractions, including a Robert Trent Jones Jr. 18-hole golf course. The city of Puerto Plata and its beautiful beaches and colonial-era center is just minutes away.
